Skin Sanctuary’s Terms & Conditions outline how our services, bookings, payments, and policies work, ensuring clarity and transparency at every step. Designed to protect both you and our clinic, they set clear expectations for appointments, deposits, cancellations, and treatments. This helps create a smooth, professional, and trusted experience every time you visit.

Our Promise To You

Every client’s time is valuable, and we will always do our utmost to respect yours. In return, we ask for the same consideration. Our clinic schedules are carefully planned to allow the right amount of time for you, and short‑notice changes often cannot be re‑filled. This is why we operate a clear Deposit, cancellation and late‑arrival policy. 

 

Bookings and Deposits

  • A Deposit is required for all appointments. Your standard Deposit is 35% of the total payable amount per appointment, unless your booking confirmation states otherwise (e.g., longer appointments  or packaged sessions may require a higher Deposit).

  • Your Deposit secures your appointment date and time and is deducted from the total cost of your treatment on the day (or deducted from your appointment total).

  • By paying your Deposit, you confirm you have read and accepted these terms and agree to the cancellation, no-show and late‑arrival rules & regulations. 

  • Appointment reminders: we may send booking confirmations and reminders by email/SMS/WhatsApp to help you stay on track (please ensure your contact details are correct). Similar reminder/confirmation processes are widely used by UK clinics to reduce missed appointments. 

  • Mobile appointments: Mobile appointments are not currently available through online booking. If you require a mobile treatment, please contact us on WhatsApp 07757 257 240.

Rescheduling and cancellations

We operate a strict 48‑hour cancellation policy to protect appointment availability, brand integrity and service quality.

  • Cancellations/reschedules require a 48 hours’ notice (minimum):

    • You may reschedule your appointment and carry your deposit forward to your new booking.

    • We ask that you reschedule as early as possible so we can offer your slot to another client.

  • Cancellations/reschedules within 48 hours of your appointment:

    • Your Deposit is forfeited (lost), without refund, and cannot be transferred to a new appointment.

    • A new Deposit is required to book a new appointment.

    • Please do not rely on social media DMs for cancellations, as these may not be monitored in time.

No‑shows

Skin Sanctuary, a no-show refers to a missed appointment where a client does not attend and does not provide prior notice within the required cancellation timeframe. This means the allocated treatment time is left unused, impacting both clinic operations and other clients waiting for appointments.

To maintain fairness and respect for time, no-shows typically result in the loss of the booking deposit and may require full or partial payment before rebooking. Our policy ensures we can continue delivering a smooth, professional, and respectful experience for every client.

  • If you do not attend, your Deposit is forfeited (not redeemable and non refundable), and cannot be transferred to a new appointment.

  • If no‑shows occur repeatedly (per client), we will require full upfront payment for future appointments and/or restrict online booking access (this approach is used by other clinics to reduce repeat diary disruption; reduce no-shows and reduce appointment loss for other clients.).

Late Arrivals

We will always try to be kind and accommodating life happens. However, arriving late impacts your treatment time and the experience of the next client.

  • Up to 10 minutes late:

    • We will do our best to proceed, but your treatment time may be reduced to protect the next appointment.

  • More than 10 minutes late:

    • A late fee applies, provided we can still treat you and provide the desired and deserved results and without affecting other clients.

  • More than 15 minutes late:

    • You will be classed as a missed appointment and may be turned away, as we may not have sufficient time to complete your treatment.

    • Your Deposit will be forfeited and cannot be used for a new appointment. A new Deposit will be required to rebook.
